Not only do we get to care for fabulous women and families from all across our diverse region, we also get to work alongside kind, compassionate, dedicated midwives and other health professionals to provide a safe and positive birthing experience.Each year we birth around 1,800 babies and work closely with the midwifery and medical schools to give the kind of care our patients deserve.About youYou will have strong leadership skills and credibility within the Midwifery profession and be able to demonstrate ability to lead your team and provide support to our diverse community and complex cases.
You are a resilient, calm, yet empathetic, decision maker who leads by example and role models and inspires positive change. You naturally bring people together to deliver the best outcomes for the women and babies in our care.As the ideal applicant you will:possess the ability to think outside the squarecommunicate effectively and promote best practice and standards of midwifery caredemonstrate sound professional judgementhave relevant knowledge of patient safety and resource management, including budgeting, equipment and staff managementdemonstrate clinical quality, safety and best practice.It goes without saying, that you will be a Senior Registered Midwife, with extensive midwifery experience.
