BestStart Buchanans Road is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and qualified ECE Teacher to join our tight-knit, energetic team. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week (Monday–Friday), in our Prep Room (4–5 years), supporting tamariki as they prepare for school through rich, child-led learning experiences.

About the role:
In our Prep Room, you'll be part of a team supporting tamariki to explore, lead their own learning, take risks, and build confidence for their school journey. With age-appropriate resources and a strong Be School Ready initiative, your teaching will have a lasting impact.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 7 ECE qualification and current teacher certification
- Understands and implements a child-led, emergent curriculum
- Is confident in Te Whariki and ECE Regulations, with a commitment to compliance
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in daily practice
- Has the passion, professionalism, and drive to deliver quality teaching
