Drainage Site Supervisor - Queenstown
We're looking for an experienced Drainage Site Supervisor to lead on-site crews across a range of civil infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide and mentor teams while actively working alongside them to deliver high-quality results.
You'll be directly involved in a variety of technical tasks including pressure and gravity-based drainage systems (3 waters), PE welding, confined space operations, utility installations such as telecom and power, as well as reinstatement works.Your leadership will ensure that daily operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Role:
In this role with our client, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring drainage crews on-site, using your machine operating expertise to train others in the safely and efficiently. You will be planning and coordinating daily site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.A key part of your role will also involve fostering clear communication, delivering toolbox talks and project briefings, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and team performance.
A drive for problem solving with strong initiative will set you up for success, backed by experience in quality assurance, compliance, and successful project delivery - whether across several smaller projects or one major contract.
What we are looking for:
- Proven leadership skills & experience in civil drainage infrastructure projects
- Experience with QA processes, documentation, and compliance.
- Top operating skills in drainage & civil infrastructure with the ability to mentor and train others
- Patience and commitment to developing your team.
- Strong communication skills with a keen eye for detail and hunger to deliver successful outcomes
- WTR, Class 2 or above and a recognised drainage qualification is a must have
- A problem solver with the ability to adapt in a fact-paced environment
