We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Hamilton team as Marquee Installers for the upcoming summer events season. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-energy team delivering exceptional experiences across New Zealand.

• While prior experience isn’t essential, we’re looking for individuals who are motivated, eager to learn and physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.

• A good level of physical fitness
• A proactive, enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when required as well as frequent travel nationwide to service our client events
• A full, clean driver’s license and the ability to drive manual transmission (Class 2 vehicle and forklift licenses are advantageous)

• Happy Hire is New Zealand’s leading provider of marquee and event hire services. With a comprehensive range of marquees and event equipment, we cater to a diverse array of occasions, including weddings, corporate functions, festivals, community events and major sporting events.

• As a Marquee Installer, you will be responsible for the assembly and dismantling of marquees and event infrastructure at various locations nationwide. This is a physically active, hands-on role where you’ll be working outdoors and on-site.

Duration: September 2025 – April 2026

You’ll receive full training and work alongside experienced team members to ensure event setups are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
