Lift Installer cum Site Coordinator

As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Lift Installer cum Site Coordinator to join our Auckland branch and support projects nationwide.

• What You’ll Do

• Install, modernize, and maintain lifts, escalators, and travelators in line with NZ Building Codes and company standards
• Liaise with clients, builders, and contractors to ensure seamless execution
• Conduct customer handovers and post-installation service checks
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

• Prepare sites for installation, ensuring materials, tools, and safety measures are in place
• Monitor multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance standards
• Supervise onsite teams and ensure high-quality workmanship
• Report progress, issues, and safety concerns to management
• Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities
• Please note: This role does not offer an electrical apprenticeship or pathway toward becoming a qualified electrician due to current internal capacity.

• Who You Are

• 3+ years’ experience in lift installation OR 2 years working on Schindler lifts (install, service, or repair)
• Familiarity with lift industry codes and safety practices
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills across diverse teams
• Ability to travel and occasionally work outside standard hours
• Vietnamese language skills (a bonus, as many of our installers are Vietnamese)
• NZQA Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical
• Current Site Safe and Working at Heights certifications
• New Zealand residency or currently reside in NZ highly preferred
