• Align Council strategies with long-term community outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, stakeholders, and agencies.
• Provide insights and reporting to support executive and governance decision-making.
• Champion Maaori aspirations and community resilience through inclusive development.
• Collaborate with economic and social agencies to achieve shared goals.

• Proven experience in leading economic and/or community development initiatives.

• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, te ao Maaori, tikanga, te Tiriti o Waitangi, and Te Ture Whaimana.
