Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of economic and social development programmes.
  • Drive joint ventures and initiatives that support business growth, employment, and investment.
  • Align Council strategies with long-term community outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, stakeholders, and agencies.
  • Provide insights and reporting to support executive and governance decision-making.
  • Champion Maaori aspirations and community resilience through inclusive development.
  • Collaborate with economic and social agencies to achieve shared goals.
