About the Role

We are seeking two customer-focused team players to join our Internal Sales team supporting our Invercargill distribution sites across Carbon, Stainless, and Aluminium. These roles are the first point of contact for customers and play a key part in daily branch operations.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm (8-hour shifts).

We are open to candidates at different career stages — from entry-level internal sales through to a senior role acting as right-hand support to the Site Manager.

Internal Sales

Ideal for someone looking to build a career in internal sales and distribution.
  • Handle inbound calls and emails
  • Process orders and quotes accurately
  • Follow up with customers and support service delivery
  • Assist the sales team and provide general branch support

Senior Internal Sales / Operations Support

A hands-on role for an experienced internal sales professional.

This role includes all Internal Sales duties plus:

  • Support operations across both Invercargill sites
  • Help coordinate daily priorities and site activity
  • Build strong customer relationships, including occasional visits
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock and inventory management
Requirements
  • Customer service experience and communication skills
  • Well organised, detail-focused, and able to juggle competing priorities
  • Comfortable working across sales, administration, and operational support
  • For the senior role, prior experience in internal sales, distribution, or a similar environment is essential
