We're looking for a high-energy team member who loves connecting with people, thrives in a busy retail environment, and has a real passion for hardware, power tools, and outdoor power garden equipment (lawnmowers, water blasters, and more!).
This role is about more than just great service – it's about helping customers choose the right solution and having the confidence and product knowledge to turn those conversations into sales.
This is a permanent role (40hrs) that requires the ability to work at least one weekend day.
What you'll bring:
- Proven sales experience in a similar environment – you know how to guide customers from "just looking" to "I'll take it"
- A genuine interest in outdoor power garden and DIY products – whether you use it at home or just love the gear, your enthusiasm will show
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
- Confidence in recommending solutions and closing the sale
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet
- Strong communication and computer skills
- A positive, can-do attitude with great problem-solving skills
- Physically fit – heavy lifting is part of the job
- Immediate start preferred
