Minimum hours per week: 30.00 hrs / week.
Qualifications: Certificate in Food science / Hospitality management preferred but not required
Experience: 2 year of experience in North Indian or South Indian cuisine preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:- Inspects and selects ingredients for cooking
- Measures, cleans, chops, blends, seasons, heats and cools food
- Monitors food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation
- Coordinates, supervises and collaborates with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and utensils
- Monitors and maintains inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Assists in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Prepare and cook a variety of North and South Indian dishes
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all safety and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of traditional South & North Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and passion for food
- Ability to work flexible hours
