Drainlayer - Christchurch

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drainlayer to join our team in Christchurch

As a Drainlayer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of drainage systems for residential and commercial infrastructure projects.

• Install, maintain and repair drainage systems in accordance to council regulations and standards.
• Cutting and fitting pipes to size, laying pipes with proper gradients using laser levels, sealing joints and installing fittings.
• Laying, altering, reconstructing, extending, repairing, and opening up drains and associated traps.
• Communicating with project manager / site supervisor on drainage requirements.
• Ensuring all your work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Maintaining detailed records and providing progress updates to the management team.

• Strong technical skills and practical knowledge of drainage systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot drainage issues, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A focus on safety and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A current driver's licence, preferably with WTR.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
