Truck Driver - Milk Tanker / Flat Deck (Seasonal)

Symons Group is gearing up for a new season of transporting dairy products for Fonterra across the North Island. We are seeking skilled Class 5 Tanker and Flat Deck drivers to support our increased workload.

• Duration: Late August to December
• Experience: Minimum of two years in tanker or flat deck driving
• Skills: Excellent relationship-building with clients

• Accommodation: Provided if you need to be based away from your hometown
• Pay Rate: $29.50/hr to $40.50/hr + holiday pay

Bonus: Meet our key performance criteria to receive our Better Living Boost

• $1,350 for completing 30 days of work to the required standard.
• $3,000 for completing 60 days of work to the required standard.

(This amount includes the $1350 Better Living Boost)

• Prioritise safety and compliance, complete load plans, and daily logs
• Maintain a clean and well-presented fleet
• Drive responsibly, adhering to NZTA rules and Symons Transport policies
• Communicate professionally with customers, the public, and colleagues
• Follow health and safety policies
• Manage time efficiently and follow instructions accurately
• Use tablets for recording hours, mileage, and load plans
• Present yourself well and communicate effectively with attention to detail
