About the role
We are looking for an experienced enrolled nurse to support our team on a permanent, part-time basis.
Tasks for this district nursing role include but are not limited to the following:
- Providing care to a diverse range of patients in the community
- Contributing to nursing assessments, care planning implementation and evaluation of care for health consumers and/or families/whanau (with the registered nurse maintaining overall responsibility for the plan of care)
- Assisting health consumers with nursing care activities, observing changes in condition and reporting to the registered nurse
- Undertaking other nursing care responsibilities appropriate to assessed competence
- Working in partnership with health consumers, families/whanau and multidisciplinary teams

- Be passionate, committed and most importantly, have a positive attitude
- Have some previous experience in a surgical, medical or community setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be capable of working autonomously
- Have the physical fitness required to meet the demands of the role
- Hold a full, clean driver's licence - essential
