RPC Logistics is a family-owned business established in 1984. From our service hub in Mangere Bridge, we provide our customers with a variety of services, including managed warehousing/3PL logistics and transport services including Hiab services to a range of industries.
An opportunity has recently become available for a Class 4 Driver (Curtain Sider) - Auckland Metro to join our close-knit team.
In this role, we are looking for:- An experienced driver with a Class 4. The majority of your work will be curtainside work, but we do have some flat top work too, so experience there is a bonus.
- Someone that understands the need to do things properly, and not cut corners
- Flexibility to drive different fleet when necessary. The majority of your work will be on the same truck, but there are times when we do need you to drive other trucks in our fleet. The more flexible you are, the more value you add to our team
- Someone that is willing to learn and be member of the team
- There is opportunity to train up to bigger gear
- A strong knowledge in this industry and experience driving trucks with the understanding to load/lash etc
- The ability to think on your feet and take the lead
- Flexibility and able to work with your team and others
- A strong and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work in a busy team environment
- A good level of physical fitness
- Commitment to a long term career
This is a full time position working 5 days per week and some weekends.
We offer attractive hourly rates and discretionary bonuses where appropriate.
We are a team of 25, split across our warehouse and transport business. While we are small, we are diverse, and we want our team to learn as much as they can to grow within our business.
