This support may include clinical and non-clinical tasks. As an HCA you take responsibility for ensuring the immediate patient environment is suitable to patient needs and patients have clear access to clinics and toilet services. The HCA will carry out assigned tasks as directed by the CNM and as indicted in the position description.You may also be required to support the nursing team and patients by delivering supplies in the city/outlying areas and/or carrying out minor clinical tasks, as directed by the nurse manager/co-ordinator.About the Team/Service/ LocationA typical district nursing team incorporates Registered Nurses (RNs), nursing assistants, alongside the client and their family, using generalist and specialist skills to provide holistic care in the home and community.
