Logistics and Warehouse Manager
Location: Bluff, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-time (30-40 hours per week)
Salary: $33 – $35 per hour
We are a growing hospitality group operating restaurants and hotels in New Zealand. Due to ongoing business expansion and upcoming development projects, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing, inventory control, and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient supply of materials, equipment, and stock across our hospitality venues and construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehousing and logistics management for building materials and food supplies, including inventory planning, inbound/outbound management, stocktaking, and loss control.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transportation companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement logistics plans for construction site materials based on project requirements, monitoring transportation status to ensure smooth project progress.
- Manage logistics processes, optimize transportation and warehousing costs, and enhance logistics efficiency.
- Establish and maintain supply chain management systems, improving warehousing and logistics management procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis, provide optimization suggestions, and support business decision-making.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners, promptly resolving logistics and warehousing issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification..
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
