Full-Time Dental Receptionist
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and can communicate clearly and confidently with patients, colleagues, and other visitors. Being the first point of contact for our patients, your ability to engage, explain, and respond professionally is essential to providing an excellent patient experience.
Key responsibilities include:- Greeting and engaging with patients warmly and professionally
- Answering phones and responding to emails promptly and clearly
- Booking, managing, and confirming patient appointments
- Handling patient payments
- Processing incoming and outgoing referral letters and documents
- General administration and accurate data entry
- Organising couriers and managing incoming and outgoing items
- Supporting the smooth, efficient running of the front desk
- Confident and proactive in communicating with all types of people
- Comfortable initiating conversations and responding clearly, even in busy or challenging situations
- Naturally friendly, positive, and approachable
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding phone manner
- Well organised with strong time-management skills
- Competent with computers (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of general office procedures and administration
- Able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Previous reception or customer service experience preferred, but not essential
- Familiarity with Exact is an advantage, but not required
- High standards of reliability, punctuality, and personal presentation
- A professional, patient-focused approach at all times
- A proactive communicator who contributes positively to the team
Full training will be provided, including dental assisting support when the clinical team requires additional assistance.
