Role: Maintenance Planner - Waipapa, Full Time

We are currently seeking an experience Maintenance Planner to join our Waipapa site and play a key role in driving plant reliability and availability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this full-time, Monday to Friday role focuses on maintenance planning, preventative and predictive maintenance, and CMMS performance to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage our CMMS (MEX) to develop and maintain schedules.
  • Plan and prioritise maintenance work to meet production schedules.
  • Coordinate shutdown maintenance and support capital projects.
  • Manage spare parts availability and documentation.
  • Report on equipment, capability, reliability and availability.
  • Work closely with maintenance, production, contractors and suppliers.
  • Support site safety systems, JSA's, permits and risk management.

About You

In order to be successful in your role, you will bring a strong blend of technical knowledge, planning capability, and communication skills. You will ideally have:

  • NZCE preferred or Diploma in Reliability, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Solid experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment with at least 3+ years in maintenance planning.
  • Strong working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Experience using a CMMS (MEX preferred) and strong software literacy.
  • High attention to detail, strong numerical reasoning, and an organised, proactive approach.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, plant reliability and safety excellence.
