About the RoleAre you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way?Health New Zealand is looking for a Cook to join our dedicated WellFoodDepartment at Hillmorton Hospital to help feed our tūroro (patients) and whānau(family).Our Cook (team) are responsible for ensuring that the needsof each tūroro (patient) is met to the highest standard.
Following standardisedrecipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of whilemaintaining clean and tidy working areas.Salary starting from $29.25 per hour, Based on the EtūMulti-Employer Collective Agreement.About YouWe are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who is able to bring their passion for food to our Hillmortonfacility.You will also be responsible for maintaining and adhering toour Food Control Plan, Health New Zealand code of conduct and Health and Safetyprocedures.Full training will be provided to all new staff joining ourteam.
Skills and ExperienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA fast learner who can pick up new skills quicklyA friendly, positive attitude with the ability to maintain speed without compromising standards.Good time management and an eye for detail.
