About the Role
This role will assist in the implementation of an effective, efficient service by carrying out tasks and duties under the direction of the Maintenance Officer. In addition, you will process requests for equipment including wheelchairs and assist in coordination and management of the equipment pool.
About the Service Location
Equipment Services is based in central Whangarei, coordinating the delivery of mobility equipment to patients in both the Hospital and Community. We assist Occupational and Physiotherapists in providing equipment that supports patients' recovery and mobility.This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where initiative is key. With plenty of opportunities for improvement, it's ideal for someone who thrives on challenges, brings energy, and is driven to make a difference.

About you
We're looking for a motivated, flexible, and diligent individual who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. No formal qualifications are required, but a strong work ethic and proactive mindset are essential.- A full driver's licence
- Good literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to complete manual handling tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of patients with disabilities
