Leading Hand Service Technician - Christchurch
Are you ready for an outstanding career opportunity with Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling? Liebherr-New Zealand is on the lookout for a proactive and passionate Leading Hand Service Technician to join our Christchurch Branch.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the workshop operations with an emphasis on team efficiency, safety and technical excellence. From delivering compliant diagnostic insights to guiding general maintenance activities, you will be a key player in supporting both our internal and external customers.
This permanent position will offer you the opportunity to access OEM training while building a long-term career in a global company.- Lead a team of Workshop Technicians to meet, deliver and exceed service expectations.
- Complete maintenance and service work efficiently
- Provide advice and guidance to apprentices, technicians and customers as required.
- Quality control for all work completed in workshop
- Complete paperwork for service and repair work
- Be accountable for the day to day activities of workshop personnel, ensuring optimal allocation of labour and resources to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Trade qualifications as a Diesel / Plant Mechanics
- Experience with building and running productive teams
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A current driver’s license
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
