About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Warehouse Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Penrose warehouse. This is a hands-on, entry-level role well suited to a school leaver or someone looking to build practical experience within the sports wholesale and import industry.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will assist with the daily running of the warehouse, including stock handling, order processing, and maintaining a safe and organised environment. While this role provides exposure to how a wholesale importing business operates, it is primarily a warehouse and stock assistant position, and a strong work ethic is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with devanning containers and incoming product deliveries
- Picking, pre-pricing, packing and dispatching e-commerce and wholesale orders
- Replenishing and organising stock within the warehouse (lifting involved)
- Supporting stock control and inventory management
- Assisting with maintaining warehouse cleanliness, equipment, and safety standards
- Working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a busy, physical warehouse environment
- Forklift or hoist experience is an advantage, though training can be provided
- No prior warehouse experience required — attitude and reliability are key
