Professional Cleaner

We are a growing cleaning company looking for reliable and hardworking Professional Cleaners to join our team. This role is suitable for both experienced candidates and freshers who are willing to learn. Training will be provided where required.

- Minimum 30 hours per week and maximum 40 hours per week
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect assigned areas and follow workplace hygiene and safety standards, reporting any maintenance or safety issues when identified.
- Collect and remove rubbish from bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials according to workplace procedures.
- Vacuum carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture regularly to remove dust and debris and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Dust and wipe ceilings, walls, vents, pipes, and other fixtures to remove cobwebs and accumulated dirt.
- Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to keep all areas neat, tidy, and well maintained.
- Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and polishing to ensure floors remain clean and safe.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, laundry areas, and other shared facilities while checking and restocking necessary hygiene supplies.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents, including detergents and solvents, to remove stains, grease, and dirt buildup from different surfaces.
- Remove lint, dust, soot, oil, grease, sludge, and other residues from work areas, equipment, and surfaces.
- Operate vacuum cleaners and other cleaning tools safely and efficiently to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is an advantage, but not required
- Freshers are welcome, and training will be provided.
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Remuneration:
The remuneration for this position ranges from a minimum of NZD 25 to a maximum of NZD 28 per hour.
