City Children's Centre is a not-for-profit community based centre, located in Napier’s CBD. We are run by a Parent Board of Trustees who govern across our two Centres (our sister Centre - Port Ahuriri Children's Centre), who are committed to providing quality over profit.

Our centre caters for children from birth to 6 years old in three separate rooms - Nursery Room, Toddler Room and Kindergarten Room. You will be working alongside the Room Team Leaders during operating hours of 7:30am-5:30pm weekdays. This position is currently for the Kindergarten Room.

The successful applicant will need the following skills, training and personal attributes:
  • Be a vibrant, enthusiastic team player who is reliable, flexible and hard-working
  • Hold a Diploma/Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Early Childhood Education and be registered (provisionally or full) with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
