We’re looking for a Qualified/Registered Drainlayer to join a reputable and established team based in West Auckland. If you’re experienced, reliable, and take pride in delivering high-quality drainage solutions, we want to hear from you.
Location: West AucklandStart date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $40–$50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications – paid weekly
About the Role As a Drainlayer, you’ll play a key role in delivering drainage services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain stormwater and wastewater drainage systems
- Operate diggers and excavation equipment for trenching and pipe installation
- Diagnose and repair drainage issues including blockages, leaks, and damaged systems
- Read and interpret plans and site requirements
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet project deadlines
- Qualified and Registered Drainlayer with a current NZ practising licence
- Proven experience in drainage installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements highly regarded
- Experience operating excavation machinery and diggers
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems, tools, and industry best practices
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship
