Caregiver-wound care assistant-home help

The client has Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa.
Weekend time is flexible depending on when caregivers are available. Usually we try and do it on Saturday afternoon between 9am and 12.30pm. Each shift involves, bathing, personal care, accute wound care, chronic wound care, wound dressings and bandaging, reporting and cleaning up the treatment room afterwards.
- You will be providing personal cares/bathing and wound care, wound dressings and bandaging
- Preferably you will have an interest in healthcare as you will be taught wound care, removal of full body dressings, wound assessment and re-application of 1st and secondary dressings.
- you need to be enthusiastic about engaging with an interesting and polite young male.
- You need your own vehicle and a full license
- You need to provide permission for us to run a police check on you

Occasionally we may require help with overnight care from time to time, this is optional.
