Pharmacy Technician - qualified
We are looking for a qualified Pharmacy Technician (NCEA 4/5) to join our team.
We would love to employ a qualified Pharmacy technician, someone with Pharmacy experience in dispensing, typing and blister packing, so if you have what it takes and enjoy being a pharmacy technician read on.....
Working in a busy Pharmacy dispensary in a busy environment you will develop your technician skills and be in the front line helping people with their medication and healthcare requirements.
Working alongside 6 pharmacists and 7 technicians to help and support you along the way.
It's essential that you are fully competent with computers and data entry, a fast learner with good problem solving skills.
The position includes working both in our dedicated medicine packing area working with robotics to deliver individual medicine packs for both rest home and people in the community and working with data entry and dispensing with day to day Pharmacy prescription dispensing.
On top of this you will learn about medicine claims, legal requirements, and dispensing processors. (a lot to learn and keep you on your A - game)
Day to day running of the pharmacy includes restocking shelves, checking off orders and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, and helping serve customers in the shop with ongoing learning opportunities.
Communication is essential so you must be able to communicate with customers, staff, and other health care professionals clearly, accurately and concisely.
Some weekend work on a rotation will be expected we are open 7 days but weekend days will be on a roster so not too bad).
