Based in Christchurch, we also embrace ventures across the South Island, so a bit of travel and weekend flexibility will be advantageous.We are on the lookout for an experienced roofer or an experienced Apprentice who has honed their skills over the year/years and is seeking an exciting new opportunity.

Key Responsibilities - The General Roofer is tasked with various responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:- Executing tasks as directed by the Foreman or Owner/Operator
- Ensuring the safety of yourself and fellow crew members by recognizing and reporting Occupational Health & Safety.
- Adhering to instructions and recognizing when additional training is needed for specific tasks
- Sustaining productivity levels
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Utilize strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Identify tasks that need delegation and demonstrate initiative when necessary
- Are eager to embrace new challenges and open to learning

- Cutting iron
- Papering and stapling documents
- Drilling sheets
- Folding ridging
- Cleaning the worksite
