Install, repair, and replace roofs on residential and commercial buildings

• Inspect roofs to assess damage or wear and determine repair needs
• Measure and cut materials like shingles, tiles, or metal panels to fit precisely
• Install insulation and vapor barriers to improve energy efficiency and prevent leaks
• Seal exposed areas using caulk, mortar, or other materials to ensure watertight protection
• Remove old roofing and debris before installing new materials
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding and ladders safely at job sites
• Tools & Materials
• Use hand tools like hammers, left & right snips, tape measure, chalk line, hand folder, battery operated drill, riveter, toolbelt, pencil or marker and ruler
• Work with materials such as asphalt, wood, metal, and synthetic membranes
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow strict health and safety protocols to prevent falls and injuries
• Ensure work complies with local building codes and regulations
• Site Management
• Prepare the site before starting work and clean up thoroughly afterward
• Coordinate with other construction professionals when needed.
