Due to one of the guys leaving for Australia, we are seeking a skilled individual to join our talented team at our renowned, award winning joinery manufacturing company with 41yrs trading behind us. If you appreciate quality craftsmanship, enjoy working in a traditional environment, and possess excellent customer skills, this could be the perfect fit for you.
About Us: We pride ourselves on our traditional approach to joinery manufacturing, eschewing CNC machines in favour of time-honoured techniques and use of solid timbers. Our commitment to quality ensures that each project we undertake is unique and of the highest standard.
As a Cabinet Maker with us, you will have the opportunity to be involved in every step of the process, from site measuring to manufacture and installation. You'll work closely with our clients, ensuring their vision is realised to perfection.With a variety of projects, including kitchens and furniture, no two days will be the same.
Key responsibilities:- Site measuring.
- Understanding drawings & cutting lists.
- Manufacturing Joinery using traditional practices.
- Installation of your joinery.
- Collaboration with your teammates (no egos required).
- Collaboration with the clients throughout the project.
- Maintaining professionalism & teamwork.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cabinet making or a relevant L4 qualification.
- Proficiency in workshop machinery & tools.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings & designs.
- Experience in installation.
- Exceptional team & customer service skills.
- Valid clean driving license.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand & hold an appropriate visa.
- Permanent position.
- Based in here in Tauranga but you will occasionally be required to travel outside of the region .
- Hourly rate of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.
- Hours of work Mon – Thurs 7.00 – 4.00pm Fir 7.00 – 3.00pm.
