Our vision is healthy community…healthy people…healthy workforce - Hapori Ora, Tāngata Ora, Kaimahi Ora. 0.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight)12-month fixed term contractWeekday afternoons and occasional weekend workAre you passionate about empowering young people and promoting mental wellbeing?We're looking for a Youth Wellbeing Activities Coordinator to plan and facilitate engaging activities for small groups of young people (aged 12-18) who are enrolled in primary mental health and alcohol and other drug services.About the roleThis role involves leading small groups of young people (2-10) in fun, supportive activities, working closely with mental health professionals to promote wellbeing and recovery.
You'll coordinate with local activity providers and community partners while creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone involved.About youYou will have experience in youth work or community development and enjoy facilitating group activities with an understanding of group dynamics.You're confident in managing safety and wellbeing within group settings and bring a thoughtful, proactive approach to your work.
