Experienced Builder - Maintenance & Projects

  • 6-12 month contract.
  • Oamaru/Waitaki District location.

Are you a trade-qualified professional with proven site safety certifications?

We are seeking an experienced Builder to join our client's team with a focus on building maintenance and specialised project work at their facility.

This is a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of maintaining site integrity, often collaborating with key contractors. The Role

You will handle a variety of essential tasks, including preventative building maintenance, roofing work, structural repairs, and small to medium-sized project implementation.

Key Requirements & Skills:
  • Proven experience in general building maintenance and project work.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights (e.g., roof access).
  • Proficient with common power tools and skilled in professional silicon application.
  • Ability to work effectively and safely as part of a small team.
  • Able to pass drug and alcohol screening Safety Certifications (Ideally Required):
Ideal candidates will hold current certifications for:
  • Permit Receiver & Issuer
  • Confined Space
  • Working at Heights
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
