Auckland Regional Dental Service

ARDS is the largest Community Oral Health Service, providing free dental care to children from birth through to year 8, in community clinics. Our service ranges across the wider Auckland region, with multiple dental clinics, including a mobile fleet.

For us, care of the child is forefront and we are looking for therapists who are passionate about children and improving their oral health outcomes.

About the Role

As an experienced Dental Therapist/OHT You will be working alongside other experienced clinicians in a supportive environment focused on growth and development. We offer a stable career that includes a comprehensive orientation, mentoring, support towards your professional development, annual practising certificate fees and long service leave.

About the Team/Service/ Location

We are looking for an experienced (at least 1-2 years) Dental Therapist /Oral Health Therapist to join our S3 team and be based in South Auckland primarily covering the Papatoetoe, Otara and Flat Bush areas. This position is not suitable for a new Graduate.

About you

In order to step into this role successfully, you would have;
NZ Annual Practising Certificate
Demonstrated experience in New Zealand
Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate well with the team as well as the patients and their families
Positive and friendly attitude

Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
