Responsibilities-
- Prepare, cook and present food items as per menu specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Monitor the quality of food and presentation, ensuring that every dish served meets the cafe’s high standards.
- Ensure food safety standards are met, including safe handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
- Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
- Handling multiple food orders at one time.
- Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive.
- Dressing order for presentation.
- Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.
- Sanitising and cleaning work stations and utensils.
- Reordering stock and food supplies.
- Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members
- Controlling the heat levels of oven to ensure proper cooking
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen.
2 years of work experience OR Level 4 OR Higher qualification is preferable
