Schick Civil Construction are a multi award winning civil contractor with offices in Christchurch, Nelson and Hamilton. They continue to be a major player in the civil contracting market and are seen as an employer of choice.
With a number of new projects coming online, we now require a Contracts Manager (Project Manager) to continue to deliver our projects with excellence.
They are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager (Project Manager) capable of running projects anywhere from $1 million to $15 million and experience over and above this is a bonus. In this role you will report into the South Island Branch Manager.
Ideally for this role you will have:
- 5 years experience post Bachelor / Diploma of Engineering
- Proven technical experience in project delivery - survey, temporary works, permit to work - lifting to excavation etc
- Ability to set up work fonts from scratch - work plans, methods, safety, quality and environmental documentation
- Experience to program 3 months ahead, look ahead and last planning tools
- Ability to lead a team of engineers and surveyors on site
