Retail Assistant - Motueka ReStore

Our Motueka ReStore operation, has a permanent part time vacancy for a Retail Assistant who is responsible for various activities required from day to day to effectively run the store. Responsibilities include processing sales using the instore system, customer service, store merchandising and inwards goods processing.

Working alongside a small team of staff and volunteers you’ll maintain a safe, organised and well-functioning environment in order to achieve the charity mission of fulfilling housing needs in our community.

You will have a passion for excellent customer service with previous retail experience. The role requires the physical ability to be on your feet for the shift and be able to move furniture items around the store as needed.

The ReStore is a busy, 6 day a week operation making your reliability important, as is the ability to work cooperatively and safely in a diverse community.

The work roster is 24 hours per week working Thursday to Saturday inclusive between the hours of 9.15am to 5.15pm. Please note the role is expected to work every Saturday and is the manager in charge on this day.
