Join us for the busiest and brightest time of year, help make Christmas shopping a safe and welcoming experience for our customers We’re looking for reliable, customer-focused team members to bring the festive cheer!
The Warehouse is the home of Christmas, a destination for our customers to find everything they need for an affordable and special Christmas. But we need extra team members to help make that happen.
Start dates vary from mid-September to mid-November and you’ll be with us until around mid-January. Many of our Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be your stepping stone for longer term and wider opportunities!
**Job Description** **Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role.**
Specifically we are looking for vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officers to join our team to help with covering over the busy period! Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**- Monitor security cameras
- Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
- Interact with customers and address their concerns
- Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.
**Generally the hours of work will be 6pm - 10:30pm.**
**Qualifications** **He korero mou ake - About you**
You’ll be right in the action, on your feet, helping customers, and keeping things moving. If you're someone who shows up, takes initiative, and works well independently and in a team, then this roles for you.
Retail experience is a plus, but what matters is your attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You get what great customer service is all about!
We’re especially keen to hear from people with strong availability throughout December and over public holidays—this is when the magic (and the rush!) really happens.
