Packhouse Team Member on Vege Farm

Looking for Packhouse and Wash-line Team member/ Farm labourer to join our team on a 30 ha organic vegetable farm. Ideal candidate has a forklift license, experience with heavy machinery/ tractors, thrives in a physically demanding role, has great physical fitness and stamina and is a good team player.

Packhouse- Wash line Team Member tasks include:

Washing produce, including use of machinery.
Forklift license and tractor driving experience useful but not mandatory
Packing produce- lots of heavy lifting and attention to detail needed here.
Assisting with other on-farm duties such as harvesting, transplanting seedlings, weeding, and other farm and greenhouse tasks

Requirements:

Motivated Individual with a Positive Can-Do Attitude
Physically Fit and Strong, Capable of Comfortably Lifting and Carrying 22kg
Physical strength is necessary for tasks such as lifting and carrying crates of produce weighing up to 22kg. Your fitness will ensure efficiency and reduce the risk of injuries.
Enjoys Outdoor Work and Getting Hands Dirty
Attention to Detail and Ability to Quickly Learn New Skills
Prior Experience in Physically Demanding Jobs: While not mandatory, prior experience in physically demanding roles demonstrates resilience, work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a labor-intensive environment.
Flexibility to Work Longer Hours on Busy Days: Our farm operations may occasionally require longer working hours during peak periods.
Own Transportation

Note: Some tasks are repetitive, longer hours may be required, and work is conducted outdoors in all weather conditions.
