Eventrent are a boutique Event Hire & Design company, based in Taupo. Proudly renowned for creating sophisticated and stylish settings, Eventrent's natural and modern range of marquees, furniture and decor cater for all kinds of events across the North Island.

Our Warehouse Coordinator will have a diverse role that will be involved in all areas of the business, including warehousing and administration duties, logistics, auditing and stocktaking, as well as assisting with the delivery and execution of our events.

Events are the core of our business and our Warehouse Coordinator will play an integral part in ensuring these events are a success. As part of your role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Warehouse operations - Primarily packing outgoing jobs and processing incoming jobs, but also ensuring processes are followed to ensure our hire inventory and workflow is maintained.

You will be responsible for various administration duties, including audits, reporting, purchasing and health and safety.

On site with events, you will assist the Events team to execute our events in a creative, professional, timely and efficient manner. Communication, organisation, attention to detail and a strong customer focus are essential in this role.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have prior experience in a warehousing role or similar
  • Have a genuine interest in the Events industry and desire to develop within a growing business
  • Be physically fit and energetic, as the position does involve lifting and manual labour
  • Enjoy following processes to achieve positive outcomes
  • Be results driven, striving to achieve objectives set by company directors
  • Have an eye for detail and creative flair
  • Be self motivated & organized
  • Have a fun personality & people skills
  • Be customer focused
  • Have well developed computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Have the ability to work unsupervised with well developed time management skills
  • The ability to cooperate with others and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a clean full NZ drivers license
  • Be flexible with working days/hours
  • Be well groomed with good personal presentation
Hours of Work: This is a part time role with between 18-24 hours per week. Warehouse Coordinator will need to be available at least Tues/Wed/Thurs from 9am-3pm as well as be available on a rostered basis to work outside of these hours to satisfy event demands.

As the wedding and event industry is seasonal, flexibility with working hours is essential.
