Prepare and cook meals according to the set menu and dietary requirements, ensuring quality, presentation, and portion control standards are maintained.
Plan daily food preparation schedules and organize kitchen operations efficiently to meet customer demand.
Monitor food stock levels, place orders when necessary, and ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and food preparation areas in line with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.
Develop new recipes or adjust existing ones to reflect seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and food trends.
Check and receive deliveries, ensuring items meet quality standards and are stored in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist with training and supervision of junior kitchen staff and kitchen hands when required.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards as per local regulatory requirements.
Handle special dietary requests and allergens with care and professionalism.
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourHours of Work: 32 – 40 hours per week
