The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the Branch Manager in driving the day-to-day performance of the store. You'll play a key part in building a high-performing team, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and helping grow the branch — all while staying close to the technical work you love.
This is a 45-hour per week role, Monday to Saturday.
You'll be responsible for:- Supporting the Branch Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the team
- Driving store performance by managing sales and stock to ensure targets are met
- Delivering a consistently excellent in-store customer experience
- Maintaining high standards for store presentation and Health & Safety compliance
- Performing Wheel Alignments and being hands-on across all areas of the workshop
- Assisting with training, performance management, and adherence to company procedures
What We're Looking For
You'll bring energy, a customer-first mindset and a genuine desire to lead people. To be considered, you'll need:- Experience in the automotive or tyre industry — or a strong willingness to learn across all areas of store operations
- Proven sales experience and the ability to drive results as part of a team
- Emerging leadership skills and the confidence to step up and lead by example
- Good communication skills and a solutions-focused attitude
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's Licence
