The service supports a culturally diverse and rapidly growing population and plays an important role in delivering community-based mental health care.As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will provide clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team and work in partnership with the Service Manager and Team Manager within a clinicalmanagerial leadership model.
You will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and the ongoing growth of the team while supporting high-quality clinical care for service users.To View the Job Description, please click here.About the Team/Service/ LocationAs a Consultant Psychiatrist working with us you play a key role in the multi-disciplinary team leading and clinically managing the clinical functions in the team.
You would work alongside the Service Manager and Team Manager in a clinical/ managerial partnership model, actively contributing to quality improvement, service delivery and the ongoing development of the teamTe Rawhiti is a well-established community mental health service that works closely with primary care providers, NGOs, and specialist services across the Counties Manukau system.Our teams have access to several community-based acute care options, including a peer-led acute recovery service.
