An exciting opportunity exists within Hamilton Stripes and Signs for a person who is specifically interested in a career within the signage industry.

We are a leading sign writing company, who values a good work/life balance. We work on a huge variety of jobs, from wrapping vehicles, making and installing building signs, to unique projects for the emergency services and everything in between.

We are a team who are proud of the work we do, and get the job done to the highest standard possible.

This is a full time, Monday to Friday position, 7.45am til 5pm.

The role would involve vinyl application, signage installation, vehicle wrapping, liaising with customers and general day to day duties.

The applicant should ideally be able to tick the following box’s:

• Specific interest in vehicle wrapping or signage, have you had a go at this and want to take it further?
• Good with your hands, practical, enthusiastic and motivated to learn a trade.
• Honest and reliable.
• Able to work efficiently with good time management, with an eye for detail and maintaining high quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently within a team of sign writers.
• Able to take ownership for your own work, have a positive “can do” attitude and prepared to develop skills.
• Be a team player, willing to step up when others need assistance or to get a high volume of work out the door.
• Flexible, approachable and able to problem solve.
• Ability to communicate with customers comfortably.
• Have a high level of personal presentation and excellent communication skills
• Positively represent the company with everything you do.
• Show initiative, drive, reliability, self motivation and passion.
• A sense of fun & enjoyment.
• Must be ok with heights.
• This is not a computer based or graphic design position.

Applicants should hold a full clean NZ drivers licence and able to drive a manual.

We are only taking applicants that currently live in New Zealand. Applicants need to have NZ citizenship or NZ residency.
