Catering Assistant and Driver

Cibus Catering is seeking a friendly and proactive individual to join our kitchen team as kitchen assistant / driver to the team at our aged care facility. This position is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents.
As the ideal candidate, you will have the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and has a friendly, outgoing personality, as well as a positive 'can-do' attitude.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include preparing food, Loading the delivery van and delivering the Freshly prepared meals to our off site facilities along with managing the washing and cleaning of dishes. You will also be involved in other kitchen duties as assigned, including organizing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen's overall operations.
Dependability and self-reliance are key traits we are looking for. You should possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills that will help you manage your tasks effectively in a busy kitchen setting. A professional dedication to your work and a commitment to being a team player are essential for this role.
While some experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial, we are more than willing to provide training to ensure you feel confident in your responsibilities. 31 Hours per week12 month Contract to Cover Maternity leave with the possibility of extension
Experience in an Aged Care environment an advantage.Some Kitchen experience
