Dropsider Truck Driver
We are a busy, locally owned family transport company with a fleet of approx 80 trucks consisting of Isuzu, MB, DAF & Kenworth trucks with our HO in Ashburton and our depots in Fairlie, Kurow, St Andrews & Waimate. Our dedicated team are expertly trained and experienced to deliver a variety of services to our extensive range of clients.
We are seeking a Dropsider Truck Driver based at our Ashburton depot.
Key responsibilities in these roles include;- Previous experience within the freight sector;
- Good geographical knowledge of the Mid Canterbury area and beyond.
- Physically fit and able to carry out the rigors of a full day and week of associated activities
- Be able to follow instructions but also be able to use initiative and common sense when the need arises
- Basic use of in-cab tablet
- Class 5
- Good basic Health and Safety understanding
- Must live within a reasonable distance of Ashburton
- Must be flexible and able to work and stay away from home on short notice and work weekends when required.
