About the Team/Service/ Location
Wards 4A/B at Taranaki Base Hospital make up the largest inpatient ward at Health New Zealand Taranaki. We have 59 acute beds and two procedure rooms (Medical and Renal respectively). We provide around the clock care for the following specialties:
General Medicine
Cardiology
Respiratory
Renal
Neurology Neuro Surgery
Haematology Oncology
Taranaki boasts some of New Zealands most iconic natural landscapes like Mt Taranaki and many adventure activities. The rugged and wild coastline is home to more than 12 world-class surf breaks. About you
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team. Ideal candidates must be comfortable with working on a rostered and rotating basis. Furthermore, will have:
- Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Recent Medical nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within the multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
