About the role
This is a varied, hands-on role focusing on keeping our facilities safe, operational, and well-maintained.
Key responsibilities- Carry out minor repairs, touch-up painting, and day-to-day maintenance
- Spot and fix minor wear-and-tear issues early
- Help set up spaces and equipment for assemblies and events
- Act as the friendly first point of contact for external tradespeople
- Practical handyperson skills (carpentry, painting, and tool safety)
- Great communication skills and a collaborative, people-focused attitude
- Self motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised
- Take pride in your work and have great attention to detail
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
- A clean NZ driver's license is preferred
- Must pass a standard Police Vet

- Paid in accordance with the School Caretakers' Collective Agreement (including standard sick and annual leave)
