We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Casual Cleaning Assistant required to work at our Defence site at Ohakea. Hours worked will be on a as and when required basis.
A Cleaner is an employee who at the completion of their training and induction is capable of utilizing a range of materials and equipment to clean a range of surfaces in order to restore or maintain buildings in a clean and hygienic condition.This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and utilization of all of the safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group.
RNZAF Ohakea is located within the Manawatu district, 26 km west of Palmerston North and 48km from Whanganui and 24 km from Marton and Feilding. Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position; * You will be responsible for cleaning accommodation rooms (including bathrooms, cleaning buildings,) by vacuuming, mopping, dusting and making beds is a daily requirement.- Must be a fast worker and a team player but should be able to work alone.
- Must have a good awareness of health & safety and follow safe working as there will be some heavy lifting included.
- Assisting with other general cleaning duties as required.
