Construction worker/ construction labourer

Kiwi Touch Construction Limited is looking for 03 Construction Workers to join our expanding team. We are seeking motivated individuals with proven skills in construction trades, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will contribute to a variety of projects across residential and commercial sites, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Work location: Auckland and surrounding areas

• Carry and lift materials and tools to and from work areas and around building sites
• Assist in setting up job sites, including clearing debris and erecting barricades or scaffolding
• Operate hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, hammers) to assist with assembly and installation of prefabricated or structural components
• Work with a range of materials such as wood, timber, cement, gravel, concrete, steel, and paints
• Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, filling, priming) and apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Perform general repair and renovation tasks as required on sites
• Clean construction areas, and maintain tools and equipment
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE
• Work efficiently within deadlines and collaborate effectively with team members

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a construction worker, labourer, or trade worker
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools (drills, saws, hammers, etc.)
• Experience in plastering and/or painting is an advantage
• Experience operating machinery (e.g., bulldozers, cranes, excavators) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Ability to follow safety regulations and work effectively in a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
• Own transport preferred (but not required)
• Must pass a random drug test
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand

• Competitive rate based on experience ($25–$30 per hour)
• Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 45 hours depending on workload
• On-the-job training provided if required
