House Leader - Child Wellbeing Team
We are currently seeking experienced, motivated, and compassionate House Leaders to oversee our Child Wellbeing homes, each accommodating 3 – 4 children/youth, aged 6 – 18yrs old with special needs.
About the Role:
As House Leader, you will be responsible for supporting a team of Child Wellbeing Support Workers, ensuring high standards of care and support are consistently delivered in a safe, nurturing home environment. Your leadership will help shape positive outcomes for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day leadership and supervision of house staff.
- Ensuring care plans and routines are followed for each child.
- Supporting and developing your team through coaching and role modelling.
- Ensuring compliance with care standards, policies, and procedures.
- Contributing to a positive, safe, and supportive team culture.
- Escalating issues / concerns to the Manager in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience and passion working with children or young people with special needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A strong service focus and the ability to lead by example.
- A current, full driver's licence.
