Barbers Required (x2)

We are currently seeking 2 (x) experienced Barbers who have an interest in developing a career in the Hairdressing Industry. This is a fast paced and important role within the Industry and requires a very observant and responsible person.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes to succeed in this position: All candidates must

• Be fit & strong with a solid work ethic
• Happy to work in a team in all-weather condition.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Be able to start at 8.30 am and finish 5.00pm and be available to work on the weekends
• 1 year of job experience required at least

• Hair Dressers/Barber cuts
• Coloring
• Style and care cuts for clients
• Hairdresser/Barber cuts/shaving beard and trim of moustaches, washes hair
• Designing and style care cuts for clients
• Provide suggestions to clients regarding hair styles and popular trends
• Answer clients’ questions regarding barbershop’s facilities and products
• Cut and style hair according to clients’ instructions
• Provide beard trims to clients looking for grooming
• Ensure that all combs and scissors are cleaned and sanitized after use
• Take telephone calls from clients and provide them with needed information
• Schedule appointments over the telephone and maintain records of work performed on each client
• Assume responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of work stations
• Ensure that sufficient items such as clean wrap sheets and towels are available on an ongoing basic
• Supervise trainees and apprentices to ensure that they are working according to the shop’s protocols
• Shave and cut beards and mustaches.
• Should be able to use such tools as scissors, clippers, razors, and combs also use lotions, gels, and powders to help groom their customers.

• Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours of work and Maximum of 45 hours of work per week
• On-going training and development
• Wage between $29.66 - $32.00 depending on work experience
